COMPANY AUDITIONS 2023-2024
Complexions Contemporary Ballet seeks passionate dance artists, of all backgrounds, ethnicities, and gender identities, that are unique individuals with a point of view and clear sense of self for its 2023-2024 Season.
Candidates should have a strong Classical and Contemporary Ballet foundation, solid pointe work for all gender identities that work on pointe, partnering experience, and the versatility to tackle a variety of movement styles. Applicants must be 18 or over, fully vaccinated, have a valid passport, and can legally work in the United States.
Complexions offers a year-round contract starting in August 2023 that includes 35+ paid weeks, domestic and international touring, competitive salaries, paid holidays, personal and sick days, free physical therapy and pointe shoe stipends.
Complexions Contemporary Ballet is a New York City-based company founded in 1994 by Master Choreographer Dwight Rhoden and the legendary Desmond Richardson with a singular approach to reinventing dance through a groundbreaking mix of methods, styles and cultures. Today, Complexions represents one of the world's most recognized, diverse, inclusive and respected performing arts companies.
Complexions celebrates its 29th season with a two-week engagement at The Joyce Theater in NYC and touring engagements around the globe. Complexions Repertory includes works from Resident and Principal Choreographer Dwight Rhoden and guest choreographers in the field. Company dance artists also have the opportunity to participate in our CCB Choreo Lab curated to provide space and time for choreographic exploration and mentorship from CCB Artistic Directors.
Company members receive professional development and additional paid opportunities in teaching and assisting with rehearsals. CCB dance artists are invited to be certified in NIQUE©, the official technique of Complexions Contemporary Ballet, through our CCB Teacher Training Program, which provides teaching opportunities in our CCB Academy programs.
Complexions Contemporary Ballet is a collective of passionate human beings and artists interested in working towards the highest version of oneself and the whole; a space to be uniquely you within a supporting and caring community while maintaining the highest standards of artistry and performance.

HOW TO PRE-REGISTER - AUDITION REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED FOR OUR 2023-2024 SEASON
Step 1: Fill out the Google Form (please be ready to submit a video link and a recommendation contact)
Step 2: Submit your resume, headshot and Covid-19 vaccination card to ccbcompanym@gmail.com. Include the following in the subject line: Company Audition + Your Full Name + Audition Site.
Step 3: Receive your audition conformation and schedule by email.

Dancers who have not submitted the complete the form, and submitted their headshot, vaccination card and resume will not be considered for an audition invitation.
